I have a heart of rings, but no pulse inside, I wear green in the spring, but in winter I hide. I reach out like an arm, though I have no hand, And I catch out to shade all the life on the land.

Some of my kind are born in darkness, yet spend their lives aglow. Others find their fame on screens, while fans watch them steal the show.

I bear no crown, yet I rule the night, I spit hot fire, but I look soft and white. I am a compass with no needle to spin, Guiding the lost by the fire within.
