A maze, a riddle, a game-like quagmire, all need thought before they reveal. Pieces may hide, while answers conspire, until patient minds make sense of the deal.

While stepping towards the best thing, which, shall we say, step is the most important?

Almost a square, but not quite right; I have four sides, with two matching twice. All four don’t match, yet corners agree, so what simple shape could I be?

I have a beam but am not a structure; The equilibrium of all things to prevent rupture; Losing me could lead to fall; But no trees or leaves make me up at all.
