A respite to despite The land of sand .

A cosmic spiral of dust and flame, where countless stars dwell in my domain. Though far away, I fill the sky, a glowing band that catches the eye.

I grow with people, brick by brick, I hum with life, both fast and quick. I rest by night, yet never sleep, Within my walls, their stories keep. What am I?

I’m cradled between giants Filled with fertility Flowing with life. What am I, that’s so uncanny.

I have a bed, but I never rest. I have a mouth, but I never speak. I can run for miles without any feet, Cold and clear, or shallow and weak. Change my meaning, and I'm a patient man, Who will tolerate what he must, as long as he can. I will not suffer an insult or a lie; I’m a tiny river under an open sky.
