I creep and grow and sprawl Looking for nourishment While water is why I crawl The dirt hides and keeps me safe. Sometimes I like to be soaking wet Other times I like to be dry for weeks on end. I love going deeper in the soil. If I stay shallow I might get ripped out by the wind.
