Riddle I travel in circles yet never I roam I live on a face but I never call home I whisper of hours yet never I speak I guide every moment for strong and for weak I stretch with the daylight and fade into night I point without judgment to left and to right Though slender and silent I rule every day Dividing your life in a measured array On towers or wrists I quietly stay A servant of time in a delicate way I move yet am still in a curious art A line that keeps rhythm from finish to start I turn with no footsteps yet always in place I mirror the passing you cannot erase I slice every minute yet leave nothing torn I greet every ending and welcome each morn Still I remain though never alive
