I am born as a puddle on a scorching hot plate, But I flip in the air to seal my sweet fate. I wear a gold jacket, round, fluffy, and light, And I love to get drenched in the morning’s daylight. You can stack me up high like a tower of old, Then melt a square crown of yellow and gold. Drizzle me with amber from a maple tree’s heart, And breakfast is ready to be torn right apart.
