As the sun sets, the family awakes They rise as one to set out into the young night With only the faintest rustlings to herald their leaving They murmur softly to themselves, Careful to avoid waking potential sleepers. They make the smallest of meals to break their fasts And devote the rest of their nights to their quiet reflections and travels. Long before the world begins to wake, They gently shepherd their fellows back to their daytime cradles And sleep once more as the light creeps across the fields and glens
